Ordered two gates for my outdoor deck. Easy to install and easy to open and close. Main use is to keep my dogs contained as I do not have a fenced in yard. Thanks to these gates, the dogs can get outside without their leashes. Quick shipping too! I needed a visible barrier for a gap in a wall; it didn’t really have to work or close anything, just look nice. This fit the bill just fine! I had concrete in the ground that prevented the gate from being placed right up against the wall. Regarding the long comments discussing the extreme challenge of putting this gate together - I almost wonder if they were talking about another product. It took me 45 minutes to build the thing, max. Instructions were not 100 clear for me, or it just probably caught me in a lazy brain day. This is a very sturdy and beautiful looking gate. Although I bought it to provide temporary closure to the garden we are working on, I like the fact that I was able to mount it on wooden posts and even modify the design a little.
