I haven't used my beverage tub yet but it looks just like it does in the photos. One reviewer commented receiving a 2-piece set. There is no indication this is a 2-piece set from the description nor did I receive 2 tubs. The tub appears durable and while it currently has a shiny surface, I do expect over time it may fade in appearance but time will tell. I look forward to using this for backyard get-togethers..
