These curtains are definitely worth the price - I am going to buy another set for my guest room! I absolutely love the unique design and the luxurious looking/feeling of the velvet (and it comes with the gold tiebacks). I completed the look by finding sheer curtains to go with them. The velvet does reflect different color under different lighting as described - it's a brighter gold/grey color reflecting sunlight but darker color without the sun. The only hassle is that there are wrinkles all over the fabric when they first arrived, so be prepared to use a steamer iron following the instructions and it will look so much better after ironing..
