Got this blender to use in a second home where we don't have a full set of small appliances because this one can be used for more than one chore, chopping, blending, mixing, etc. Although I haven't used it except for trying it out to be sure it worked, it does seem to be easy to operate and hold in my hand (which is small) and has quite a bit of power. I will use it at Thanksgiving, so if a change, I'll update, but don't expect that to be the case. Braun has a good reputation and it seems to be a good quality product.. Sam I Am.
