Solid 9-ply UV cured polyurethane coated birch construction featuring full-extension, heavy-duty ball bearing slides rated for 100 lbs. including the weight of the shelf. Per the detailed measuring instructions; "We will manufacture your slide-outs to the exact dimensions of the opening you provide, with an approximate 1/4 inch clearance of the opening on each side." So, the front wood trim of the shelf will always measure 1/2 inch less than the width of the clear cabinet opening to ensure that it fits the cabinet perfectly. We recommend that you select the clear-width opening of your cabinet. We will manufacture the shelf and rails to fit within the opening. If you were to select 20" as the opening the usable width inside the shelf would be approximately 17 5/8". To remove the slide-out shelf, extend the shelf out, and locate the black levers on each side of the shelf rails. While somewhat overpriced (it is just pegs and a piece of wood with holes after all!), I am really pleased with this purchase. The pegs are more substantial than I expected. You have to be prepared to cut the board to size with a table saw (or skill saw/jig saw) to properly fit the drawer. I lucked out by getting this for less money after it had been returned - I suspect for that reason. While there are a lot of pegs included, I would have liked to have been able to purchase extra pegs, but regardless I would definitely purchase this drawer organizer again. I was originally going to create a DIY organizer, but it would not have been the same - this peg board is quite thick and the pegs are nicely tapered at the bottom.. Tracy.
