The package that this came in was so small that I felt pretty sure I hadn’t received the correct box, but I was wrong! The tiny box was compact but packed with stuff - quality overall seems really great and perfect for starting seedlings, however, as you can see in one of the photos, the holes that the plastic topper should fit in are VERY off kilter which makes the toppers nearly unusable. Ordered this garden plant starter kit and it arrived rather quickly. Upon opening it, I was surprised with how cute the set is with the little shovel for applying just the right amount of soil to each tiny container. This would be great for the little gardener that wants to start growing his or her first seedlings. The entire set is much smaller than I had anticipated but will be fine for first timers attempting to grow anything from seed. The black plastic trays are thin and probably will not last many years. Once everything is filled, care will need to be taken to move them. Three green label stakes are good if each tray has the same thing in it, otherwise you will need more. Basically, this is a great starter kit. The larger black trays have no drainage hole but the clear smaller ones do. I think the little black round things are to use as risers, but not sure. Not going to be able to use this with any “large” growing plants because they would outgrow the container and need transplanting sooner than the roots would be established.
