I'm so pleased that the Buttermilk Waffles (from recipe book) pulled away easily from the waffle plates! I substituted gluten free flour and added dried blueberries I had on hand. I wish the plates removed for easier cleaning however there is no stuck on waffle so that's easy! My old waffle maker doesn't compare. Never received it but from experience… How happy I was to finally be able to replace my All-Clad classic waffle maker! How totally, totally disappointed I am with this one. The one previously owned, lasted for over 10 years. This one, may not even gonna make one year. The non-stick is almost non-existent -- might even be coming off in my waffle, uneven browning, and perhaps, uneven cooking. Id been putting off returning it trying to give it a chance to acclimate NOT A GOOD DECISION. My window to return has expired. Totally disappointed.
