Wow!! This dealt plush pillow top mattress is beyond comfortable!! I bought it for my toddler’s big girl bed in the twin size. It arrived in a nice thick plastic fully sized out, it’s not one of those that can roll up and decompress..which offers stability and plush comfort. It is a real mattress! Firm and cozy. What a great memory foam mattress! It was easy to unwrap and extend open. I waited 24hrs to allow full air expansion. It feels great, I slept like a baby, it instantly helped with my lower back issues ( guess I needed a new mattress). I’ve been having severe back, neck, hip, and shoulder pain for the past year or so due to my pillow top mattress. It just recently got replaced with a new 10 inch memory foam, which seemed to help, but I’d still wake up feeling worse than when I went to bed. I was very excited to try out a gel mattress topper, specifically a Sealy since I’ve been seeing so many commercials from the lately. When it came in the mail I was so excited. I cut open the plastic wrap and unrolled it. The topper was frozen!! It stayed in the frozen position for about an hour. Was legit solid as a rock, but it had sat outside about 12 hours in 20 degree weather, so I understood why. I turned on the heat and left it alone, in about two hours it was fully inflated. My first impression laying on it was oh my god this is firm!! But then you slowly start to fall into the mattress topper as it conforms to your body. It literally gives you so much support I didn’t have to use a pillow because it was supporting my neck while letting my head sink in. I’m so floored by this item - I woke up with minimal pain (Rome wasn’t built in a day) and for the first time in a long time I’m excited to fall into bed again tonight!!. Rebecca Lynn. I decided to write this review exactly 2 weeks after it arrived. We have been sleeping much better. I did my whole review, contemplating, going back forth for the perfect bed in a box like the majority of you reading this. Yeah, it took almost 48 hrs like it says to expand to 12 inches. It’s honestly not completely Plush, but after reading most the reviews I knew that. I wanted to purchase a “Plush” just so I knew if it happened I could tolerate a “medium” feel, which it is completely a medium-soft feel. Overall, it’s helped our back’s we will give it a 45 ⭐️. We paid 70 for someone to come pick up our old mattress box spring so include that in your overall cost as well. I’m Impressed so far, and you can sit fine on the edges of the bed also.. Meghan. If you are a side/stomach sleeper this will feel amazing! This is a medium to soft mattress which is the perfect firmness if you have hip or back pain. Nice amount of curve hugging, without feeling like you are sinking. Box arrived without damage in 3 days and it was just as I expected. I got the king size, so it was a 2 person job. We took it out of the box in the driveway, carried it up the steps, placed it on the existing box spring, and then followed the instructions. There are 2 plastic wraps. The mattress was folded in half, so we unfolded it, and cut off the second plastic wrap. It went from completely flat and too small to over 12" tall and perfect from corner to corner in less than one minute. This hybrid is replacing a less than a year old cool gel style 12" foam only mattress. We noticed an immediate difference from the gel to this hybrid. It feels much softer, more like a pillow top, but still with the edge firmness to be able to put socks and shoes on from the sides/end. There is a smell when unwrapping (not unpleasant), but it went away very quickly and after an hour it is not noticeable. I think this is very normal for the foam mattress styles. After sleeping uncomfortably on a gel mattress (another brand) we are excited to wake up without body aches! This is better than I had hoped, I will update this if it is anything less than 5 stars.. I got this mattress about six months ago and it's been absolutely amazing for my problematic back. Very firm but not like sleeping on the floor. Provides the right balance of support and softness to allow a great night's sleep with limited back pain getting up in the morning. I would highly recommend for anyone else dealing with spine issues or just prefers a firmer mattress. My only concern is how the softer sides might sag over time.
