So far so good! I bought this to upgrade from the current Brother sewing machine I have which is very basic. I have tried it a few times and tried most of the stitch patterns to see how they turned out. Every single one looks great. I used a practice quilt to see how well it works with layers of fabric and that also worked well. Threading the bobbin and everything else works as it should too. Replaced my older entry level Brothers sewing machine with the pink color version of Janome-east-to-use model and was pleasantly surprised. The Janome easy to use has a metal inner body which allows for smooth sewing without the vibration of a light plastic machine which allows the machine stays put which helps keepa straight stitch going. As in its name it is easy to use. I took it out of the box and the hardest part was removing the plastic bobbin case out of the metal bobbin compartment. LOVE this machine!!! Such a great deal too! This machine is smooth and quiet.....right now just making masks but looking forward to trying all the fancy stitches!! Getting the hard cover, extension table and 18 pressor feet included was awesome!!  My only issue is when I use the auto switch to cut the threads.....the bobbin thread cuts below the needle plate and I have to bring it back up. Best Buy ever!
