Main body and all threaded parts are solid chrome finish brass. Only the flip lever is plastic. Click back for shower head only click to middle for shower head and hand held blend click all the forward for just the hand held. Way easier to use than the diverter usually supplied with a unit that requires a strong hand to crank a cylinder around into position.
