We love the room so far, now that is up. Assembly was a pain due to the unclear directions,unmarked parts,missing parts and damaged parts. Actual pictures of the parts and assembly would go a long way. I'm skilled at assembling stuff like this and with my sons had to disassemble things a few times before we got things so they appear to be correct. There were some filler panels that they sent too many of one and 1 short of another. I made it work. One roof rail was badly bent and twisted even though there was no real damage to packaging. Have realistic expectations when you buy one of these. I was quoted almost 30k for a 3 season room. I didn't think I was getting the same quality so I'm not disappointed with it. . John. If you know how to build things and are super handy, go for it. GazeboPenguin’s customer service is nice and gets right back to you with assistance. The included instructions are very close to useless in most parts. I would recommend emailing them for the more detailed slightly less confusing video instructions. A lot of pieces were mislabeled and missing drill holes. The structure itself seems sturdy and nice enough which is why I’m giving it 3 stars. The instructions were adequate but not great. My boyfriend is a 30yr+ contractor and it still took the 2 of us 2 days to build it by ourselves. We really could have used more hands. I highly recommend doing what we did and taking the time to sort all of the parts before beginning. Not every part was labeled so this would have made for issues had we not staged everything first. The structure itself is fairly flimsy. The roof vent windows are poorly designed to say the least. So is the door latch. We added quite a bit of extra bracing and tie downs and clear caulked all of the panels which helped considerably. We added slide bolts inside the doors to hold them closed while inside, as well as hook and eye latches to hold the doors open outside and a slide bolt on the door without the latch to keep the doors closed outside. We also bolted our planters to the wood base and greenhouse walls, and built a counter that runs the length of the end and is also bolted to the structure and the base. It is NOW quite sturdy, but if you plan to purchase this keep in mind that it will take a fair amount more time and money to make it a sturdy, wind-proof building. In other words, you are getting what you pay for. And we still have to figure out how to deal with the flimsy roof vents.. Dana. TX. 2023-03-23 10:45:23

I waited until the sun room was finally completed before writing this review. Thanks to all the previous reviewers… your reviews really help prep me for the installation process so my anxiety levels were not so high. Yes the instructions were written by someone who probably never put up or seen anyone else install one of these…nevertheless it took two professional pros one and a half days to install… mainly because it was like building it from scratch with many pieces packed in about six different boxes… I was amazed to see the pieces transformed into a AWESOME SUN ROOM….love love….So to sum all up don’t attempt on your own leave the installation to the pros and don’t stress…not to say that they did not have any problems with the instructions or installation but at least they could figure out the alternatives if need be… I am very happy with this SunRoom it’s like having a extra add on bonus room … I will enjoy…..
