All basic series end caps (left and right sides) are made from heavy-duty 22 gauge steel. Each end cap can contribute an optional 1.75" of the additional span when attached to a panel. Baseboarders Premium Series Closed End Caps are available on both left and right (sold separately) sides. They are designed for heaters with pipes that bend down into the floor or back into the wall. They do not continue into an adjacent wall. Designed to snap onto the ends of Baseboarders Premium Series panels only. The panel holes are 1/8” in diameter to allow proper airflow. Intended for hydronic (hot water) baseboard heaters, but will work for electric baseboard heaters. Use basic precautions when using electric baseboard heaters, as they operate at higher surface temperatures. Baseboard products will become just as hot as the original. Yes, these are pricey, but wow do they clean up a mid-sixties contempo-ranch! They cut easy with tin-snips and sit nicely on the floor. One thing before you order; measure your existing radiators to insure these will fit. I had to smush some of the flanges over on one unit, but the room is fine with a few less flanges and a new look. Another is to clean up the flanges before affixing these covers so test them before screwing or caulking them in place. In one area I will spray a little black heat resistant paint on the radiator flanges so when the sun hits them you won't see the dirty-ole-flanges through these lovely covers.. david. cincinnati, OH. 2019-12-19 18:53:48

This heater cover instantly rejuvenates ugly old, yet perfectly functional, baseboard heaters. Couplers (aka splicer) are used for baseboard heaters that are longer than 6'. When 2 basic series panels are placed side by side the coupler slips over the ends of both panels. By registering the butt ends together the splice detail is consistent with the panel material while ensuring any gap is completely hidden.
