Nice fan, extremely quiet! Perfect for night time while youre sleeping, Even on high speed, it blows sufficient air and is still quiet.  on top it has A cover or hood that can be opened where all the functions are and you can also put your remote control in this spot so you dont lose it, Great idea!  Because its so tall you definitely feel the air throughout the room as it is circulating. I am satisfied with the fan the only reason why I gave it a four star rating, it did seem slightly wobbly after putting it together but once its working it doesnt affect it in anyway. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just moved into a two story house with 2 story ceilings and hallway wall cut outs in the living room and hallway. This creates dead spots where there is little air circulation even though we have quite a few ceiling fans. This slick almost 35 inch fan comes to the rescue. We can stand it upright as a space saving thin tower fan in the hallway or place it vertically to form an air bar. There is a remote control so it can be placed away from pets or children if needed. It doesn’t oscillate, but it has a pretty good air volume and we don’t need that function. You can tilt the flow by hand. There is a magnetic base system that is magnetic and quickly and easily converts to vertical or horizontal without needing tools. It is constructed with matte black plastic that can be wiped clean. It weighs a bit over 5 pounds and so it is easily moved to where it is needed. I have recommended other Sharper Image products before and I recommend this one as well.
