I got the 8x10 size of this rug, wanting to layer it under another smaller rug. If you use this rug on its own, it definitely needs a pad underneath to hold it in place. It's very lightweight/flimsy. The color is a light wheat/beige color. No gray. Not sure why it's labeled as gray. But the colors seemed accurate to the photos. I liked that it's made of cotton, but beware if you're a cat owner! After only a couple weeks, my kitties claws have snagged this rug in several places. I don't know if she tried to sharpen her claws on it or what, but either way, my other rugs have never snagged from her claws. The nature of how this one is made, make it pretty easy for pets to snag. This rug was the perfect addition to our master bedroom. It moves around a lot when you walk on it, so we'll probably get a rug pad that will make it stay put, but the color is beautiful and hides dirt and animal hair pretty well between vacuums!
