Its a very nice well made gazebo. But you need 5 people to assemble it. Luckily I have my family to help me out. I also included the picture for people to see how to attach. The gazebo is structurally very sound, rock solid and well made. Be aware, it’s heavy and comes in 5 boxes. We spent 2 12 days building it and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. It takes more than a step ladder and at least two strong backs for lifting. Overall it is worth the price tag. I hung a couple of fans and LED lights, we use it day and night!. Jennifer. After 4 days of installing with the help of my son, I am beat. This review would have got a 5, but I’m giving it a 3 because the installation was hell. The instructions are terrible to follow. Once you get to the roof, good luck because you will be saying every swear word in the book. The plastic pieces that go on the end of the roof panels kept sliding off and it’s hard to align the spacers to the hole. Do yourself a favor and buy some high grade electrical tape to tape the plastic pieces to the back of the panel, I chose electric tape to sustain the 100 degree weather in Vegas. Also buy some adhesive tape (Gorilla 30lbs) to tape the spacers to the panels and align with the screw hole. Both these steps will save you plenty of time and less frustration. I read a lot of reviews saying to hire someone to do it. Anyone installing this product will have a hard time and it’ll end up costing you more in the long run because it takes multiple people 2 people is bare minimum, you will need at least 3 people if not more. When I purchased this (10x20) louvered pergola, the only review here told a tale of misery in the assembly. I was cautiously optimistic that we would have better results. Thankfully, our experience was nothing like that reviewer’s. It took my husband and me about 6 hours to assemble the pergola start to finish. A couple of things to keep in mind, especially if you’re considering the 10x20 There’s absolutely no way you could assemble this alone. We managed with 2 people, but there were points when a 3rd person would have been ideal. The assembly isn’t complicated, but it is fairly tedious. You’ll need significant room to work, and you have to have two ladders. We managed with a tall step ladder as our second one, but that only worked because my husband is 6’2”. We only had 1 screw break, out of the entire project. It wasn’t a problem, though, because they provide two extra louvers. Speaking of the louvers, the previous reviewer installed them incorrectly. There are not “four center pieces” as indicated in the review. All of the louvers are identical, and you install the two pieces that attach to the cranks first. Then you install all of the rest, so that each one lays on the previous one when they’re closed. We’ve had this up for several weeks now, and it has rained many, many times.
